Served in the US Army from September 1966 to September 1968. Received the Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal w/2 Bronze Service Stars, RVN Campaign Ribbon w/device/ RVN Gallantry Cross w/Palm Unit Citation and Rifleman Badge.

Entered FBI Duty April 12, 1971, with assignments in Tampa, FL: Lakeland, FL; Rock Island, IL: Chicago, IL: Monterey, CA: Albu querque, NM; Alamogordo, NM; and New York, NY. Re- signed as special agent Sept. 9, 1978. He received three personal Letters of Commendation from Director, FBI.

Earned BA and MA degrees from North Texas State University and JD from Texas Tech University. He is a licensed attorney, state of Texas, admitted to practice in the US Supreme Court, the US Court of Appeals-5th Circuit, the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the US Court of Veterans Appeal.
