fbi/cia's own torturers, assassins, & terrorists globally
I am a bit late on the below information so please excuse the timing! Believe me, my hands are full, oy!
At any rate, the purpose of the post below is just in case members may be unaware of CCR
(i.e., Center For Constitutional Rights at 666 Broadway in NYC.) They used to have an antirepression
project called Movement Support Network whether they still do, or call it that, or not! Either way, they do
deal with the issues that we deal with in some respects. Mind you, and I will be perfectly candid, they
didn't really do anything for me, but I think it's there institutionalized homophobia, really! My situation they may consider to politically charged, but par for in - tense - hotbed - fascist USA going Nazi faster then a train. However, that is not to say that they wouldn't be willing to help someone else. I don't really know for sure. I hope so.
One thing, though, and the reason that I am posting this, is that CCR sends out newsbriefs about the
FBI all the time which are useful for updating about what the bureau is up to at the moment. So, in order to
get placed on there newletter mailing list you would email: Annette Dickerson :
email@example.com I have pasted the text from a recent CCR newsbrief I got in my email below as an example of the type of issues they get the word out regarding:
" Dear CCR Supporter: Thousands of people gathered in nearly 40 cities across the country this week in response to the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) raids on peaceful anti-war and international solidarity activists in Chicago and Minnesota. The growing threat to the right to dissent has been demonstrated in the U.S. government's efforts to silence speech, and criminalize and target peaceful movements. These efforts are becoming more aggressive, emboldened further by the Supreme Court's increasingly conservative decisions, for instance regarding material support in the form of humanitarian aid to so-called terrorist organizations. Fortunately, opposition to this blatant repression of our basic civil rights is mounting daily. As you know, the Center has worked to protect the Constitutional right to dissent for social movements in the United States. Join us and take a stand against the silencing of dissent by participating in a national call-in day on Monday, October 4, 2010, and organize an event in your communities on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 to make your voice heard. NATIONAL CALL-IN DAY OF ACTION: MONDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2010 Call Attorney General Eric Holder at (202) 353-1555 and tell him to: · Stop the grand jury subpoenas; · Return all of the materials seized in the raid to their owners; and · End the harassment of anti-war and international solidarity activists. ORGANIZE AN ACTION IN YOUR COMMUNITY: OCTOBER 5, 2010 Act in solidarity with activists called before the Grand Jury and organize your community to: · Take action at local federal buildings and FBI offices. · For information on what actions will be taking place in your area, visit www.stopfbi.net ; "
Please excuse me if I do not have time to converse! Things are not going well right now! I will keep a line
open a little later! Thanks for being there! Keep up the wonderful work! Al (aka: Lawrence Allen White)
